Recycling Services
Carney’s Waste Systems is proud to provide a complete range of recycling services. From residential curbside collection of comingled recyclables to large volumes of recycling generated from commercial businesses. Our recycling programs can be tailored to each customer’s particular waste stream to maximize waste diversion and minimize costs.
We provide collection services for cardboard, mixed paper, glass, cans, plastics, shrink wrap & plastic bags, all delivered to our Squamish Recycling Centre for preprocessing. Organics are delivered to the Whistler Compost Facility. Wood only is taken to our Wood Recycling yard in Squamish where we chip the wood waste and send it directly to a compost facility or as fuel for a mill. Steel is generally taken to Squamish Scrap Metal.
Collection services include a wheeled tote(s) (35 – 95 gallons) or a bin (2 – 8 yards) to suit whatever space requirements you may have. These containers can be located inside or outside of your premises and our drivers will service them as scheduled or on call.
