Waste and Recycling may be dropped here during regular hours of operations. Recycling is free! Also available here is the Provincial Stewardship drop off for Paint and Household Hazardous Wastes.

ELECTORAL AREA C AND VILLAGE OF PEMBERTON:
Tipping Fee rates are hereby imposed on all users of the Refuse Disposal Sites within Electoral Area C and the Village of Pemberton for residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial and wood waste.

  • The minimum rate charged for deposit of refuse shall be $2.00.
  • The fees specified above, for deposit of refuse at the landfill, shall be doubled for refuse which originates outside the taxing area.
  • The fees specified above will be doubled if the refuse is not disposed of as directed by the attendant or as specified on signage.
  • A minimum fee of $100.00 or 10 times the appropriate tipping fee, whichever is greater, will be charged for waste deposited outside the gate, without the attendant’s permission, or during hours when the landfill is closed to the public.
  • The attendant is responsible for evaluating incoming waste and determining the appropriate tipping fee. In the event of a dispute, his/her word will be final.
  • The attendant has the authority to turn away loads of waste.
