We are local. We live, work and play in the Sea to Sky Corridor. Our commitment to the environment begins with our love for this gorgeous corridor and we are proud supporters of numerous local businesses, charities, organizations and initiatives. Our employees have helped to weave the fabric of the communities that stretch from Lions Bay to Darcy for over 50 years and we are proud to serve you.

Carney’s Waste Systems began in 1965 with a single truck and a single route of residential garbage service. Owen Carney led the organization from these humble beginnings, and grew the company to include recycling and organics services. Notably, Carney’s Waste Systems serviced the 2010 Winter Olympics which are considered to be the greenest games to-date with environmental practices second to none. Today, we continue to serve the corridor with the same passion and commitment, to the environment, and our customers that has always been the hallmark of Carney’s Waste Systems, under the umbrella of GFL Environmental Inc.

With over 30 trucks and 85 passionate employees we are knowledgeable of local needs and lifestyle. Carney’s Waste Systems is happy to customize our services in collaboration with you, resulting in worry-free solutions for all of your waste management needs.
