This site is open 24hrs/day 365 days of the year.
Furry Creek residents may bring their household refuse to the recycling & waste depot site. This site is designed to protect the bears by keeping garbage out of their reach. For this reason, it is important that garbage, including furniture, clothes and other items MUST NOT be left outside the bins. A garbage bear is a dead bear.
Paint and hazardous waste should not be put out into the bins. For proper paint disposal, please bring cans to Carney’s Waste Systems main site at 38950 Queens Ways in Squamish.
